One Day for Human Rights

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
I'm blogging for Human Rights.  Nothing irks me more than getting forwarded emails from Xenophobic people about the influx of Latinos in America and how it's hurting them personally.  It's racist and wrong.  They only have to look at the ship their relatives came on and then make a huge apology to the Native Americans in the research journey.  Anyway, you can help stop torture, slavery, and child abuse by signing the Human Rights Petition.

Then blog about it and send the message loud and clear, we're all one people and we all have the right to be treated with dignity, respect and conscious consideration.

Wisewomen wants people to be aware of a mail scam that may reference the popular Publisher's Clearing House name or other legitimate sweepstakes company. This is a national scam being investigated by a number of agencies.

You may receive a letter from "Publisher's Clearing House" or other company with a check that announces the recipient is a sweepstakes winner. The mailing includes a check which the letter indicates is to cover outstanding fees. The cashier's check appears real and may even fool your bank.

The recipient is asked to deposit the check and call a phone number to claim the rest of their prize. They are asked to write a check back to the company in order to collect their prize. While those who deposit the check may have access to the funds for a short time, when the check bounces the victim will be responsible for all expenses.

Please do not be fooled by these scams. A legitimate sweepstakes company WILL NEVER ask for payment of any kind in order to receive your prize. If they do, you are being scammed.

If you are a victim of the Publisher's Clearing House fraud, you are asked to call

Follow this guy and lose any weight you might gain today!  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  I'm grateful for you!

Love this blog http://www.bamboowomen.com/blog/?p=112.  I have many friends who are going through hard times now.  I wish them peace, joy, understanding, and healthy loving.  I'm thankful for you and I honor your suffering!
A little exercise in thankfulness.  It's good for your soul, your body and believe it or not, your pocketbook.

Doctors have discovered that gratitude can improve health, wealth and mood.  Surprised?  On Dr. Christine Northrup's site, she states:

Gratitude
What You Need To Know

Research shows that heart-centered feelings associated with gratitude, appreciation, and caring are health enhancing. When you find one thing, however small, to be thankful for and you hold that feeling for as little as 15-20 seconds, many subtle and beneficial physiologic changes take place in your body:

  • Stress hormone levels of cortisol and norepinephrine decrease, creating a cascade of beneficial metabolic changes such as an enhanced immune system.
  • Coronary arteries relax, thus increasing the blood supply to your heart.
  • Heart rhythm becomes more harmonious, which positively affects your mood and all other bodily organs.
  • Breathing becomes deeper, thus increasing the oxygen level of your tissues.

So, here in America, it is Thanksgiving Day tomorrow.  Perhaps, you can journal 10 things that you're thankful for right now.  Then every day, write 3 more things your thankful for in your journal.  Actually stop and write them.  Put a reminder in your Outlook calendar to stop and think, "feel" and write about something your grateful for at the moment.  Do this every day for the following year, and then read back over your journal.  Remember how you felt, how your health was, how your mood was and how your outlook on life was on Thanksgiving 2008.  See how much improvement and change has taken place in a year!  You'll be amazed and delighted.

I'll share my 10 things of gratitude with you.

  1. Beautiful winter sunsets in Colorado
  2. A Grandson who laughs out loud
  3. A daughter who is in love and happy enjoying life with her wonderful husband
  4. A mother who is healthy
  5. A sister who is caring
  6. Friends who I can count on
  7. Family who are close
  8. A husband who loves me
  9. My health
  10. Opportunities to grow, learn, laugh and love every day
I could write even more, now that I've started.  But what about you?  Write your ten items your grateful about in the comments!  Let's start changing the world by changing our thoughts about our own lives.  Let's continually lift our hearts in praise and gratitude! We are the change.

I get to spend time with my grandson tomorrow!  I've got my house cleaned (thanks to DH for pitching in...strange how it is so much easier when he helps out!  I've got the perfect gift-craft-activity planned and I'll get the stuff tomorrow at Hobby Lobby or Michael's.  I plan on having fun and plan on making a "good memory with Nana" in my grandchild's brain.

I'm so grateful for my family.  I love them so very much and pray everyone has a wonderful time sharing gratitude on Thanksgiving day!

Don't you just love how you are in charge of your life, your plans, your outcomes?  I've been blessed with a sweet grandchild and I get to spend time with him!  I get to create with him.  I get to interact for 24 hours with him.  (OK - 8 hours of sleep are involved, but still!).  I'm so blessed.

I don't remember spending a happy time with my grandmother.  It was always SO SERIOUS with her.  She was into saving lives for Jesus and by golly, there was nothing fun or precious, or living in the moment about that.  It was all about heaven, living in the future, feeling bad about who you are right now, because, "Honey, there ain't no way you're gonna get to heaven by who you are right now. Her mind was "so set on heaven, that she was no earthly good."  She did not realize that everyone of us has a chance to hook up with "the Divine" spirit within us and make it OK.  No, she spread doom and gloom in my family.  She judged her daughter (my mother) and judged her son-in-law (my father) and pretty much preached that it was a relationship made in hell, and unless my daddy professed her faith, then their relationship was doomed and so were her grandchildren and sisters and all family.  How sad.  How non-Spiritual she saw life.  She didn't see God as a part of every human being.  She didn't see that we all have that part of ourselves that loves, lives, breathes God.  How sad it took me 55 years to realize that God was not the enemy, but God was my best friend.  How might my life had been different if my Grandmother was a Wisewoman and accepted my father as my Spiritual Father?  How might my mother have lived her life differently?  Instead of coming from a place of guilt and shame, but from a place of power and dignity and "TRUE LOVE"?

Who knows?  I just know that I love my grandson.  He's the most incredible person in the world to me.  He's smart, creative, talented, loving, kind and cute.  I wish my grandmother and mother would have seen that in me.  Oh, well.  No sense crying over spilled milk.

Go spend time with your grandchildren and bask in their loveliness.  See them through God's eyes, not your human eyes.  They are so perfect, whole, complete. Love them.  They are you!

I love you and have a wonderful weekend!

Daily Walk

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Some days when I walk alone in the woods my soul rises to meet my spirit
Each step brings me joy, each breath fills my needs
My heart can heal for the minute
And take me forward to no time where only spirit lies
To float in a place of relief where nothing ever dies

So sad, it is, that the soul holds us down when we have lost a love
Spirit has to struggle alone
To hold us up and us rise above
Our situation and world of form
Seems to the wounded to be only storms

Some days when I walk alone in the woods my soul holds me down to my pain
My shoes fill with fir needles, each step is hard work
The breeze chilling the tears on my face
Each beautiful leaf drifting down
Just bruises my heart as it falls to the ground

Another storm is blowing in; I hope will move through fast
But wishing it gone will not work
I endure the wind like the past
Hoping tomorrow will again raise my soul
On my daily walk in the woods alone

OK - after 40 years (except for the nine months I was pregnant) I'm going to stop smoking tomorrow.  Any other wisewomen on board with me?  There is help.  Join me then tell me your story.  This is one habit and "story" I've been holding onto for too long.  Ready to give it up.  You with me?

Go to WendiTV.com to get hypnotized to stop smoking.
We're entering a new time.  Can you feel it in the air?  Oh, yeah, there are those that are afraid of the change in the air.  They claim collapse, disaster, fear, hatred, prejudice, all of the "old way of thinking", however, if you listen and pray and clean your thoughts, you get it, that there is something very joyful and healing and wonderful happening in the world today.

You can drive in crazy traffic and send love to each person on the road.  See how that changes your drive?

You can shop and talk to the employees in the store and the checkout people and laugh and giggle and chat.  See how that changes that experience?

You can talk to neighborhood kids and tell them you're glad to see them having fun and support them as any "Nana" would.  Can you see how that changes your neighborhood?

You can call family and friends and elderly folks you know who may be lonely and tell them you love them.  See how that changes your world?

You can start that poem, start that painting, start that glass project, start that craft project, start those holiday communication masterpieces.  See how that changes your world?

Each of these examples are ways you have the power to change your day, your hour, your minute.  I know you're up to the task.  You are wisewomen!  You know what you know!

I love you and wish you peace this day.  Sweet dreams.  Nameste'.

Ho'oponopono simply means, "to make right," or "to rectify an error." According to the ancient Hawaiians, error arises from thoughts that are tainted by painful memories from the past. Ho'oponopono offers a way to release the energy of these painful thoughts, or errors, which cause imbalance and disease. Every painful situation that arises in your life, you are 100% responsible for. Only because your memories are running your life instead of your clean consciousness. You can make it right, with Ho'oponopono.

Got someone who's bugging you? Got debt up the wazoo? Can't get your business off the ground? Got no love? Got no money? All of these "blocks to spiritual peace", "material abundance", "right relationships" are due to the fact that you have memories working overtime to block your good and peaceful birthright.

You're out of sync with the Divine order and all it takes to get back into the "flow" of money, love, peace, happiness is to do Ho'oponopono constantly - taking responsibility for the situation, and then cleaning it up. It's a simple process. Just do the following steps when something or someone comes into your life that stresses you.

1. "Thank you Spirit for bringing this situation to my attention. I know I have been given a great gift to clear this situation from my life and I'm grateful to you for this gift."

2. "I'm sorry I didn't know these blocks to freedom were a part of my energy. I don't know what to do about this God, but you know what to do. I'm sorry for what I have done to cause this situation."

3. "Forgive me for causing this situation in my life. Forgive me, my friends, my relations, my ancestors for shutting you out of our lives, Divine Spirit. Please cleanse me for whatever is in me that has created this situation. What is it in me that has caused this pain?"

4. "I love you God, Divine Spirit, All that Is, the Great I Am That, I Am."

These easy steps are to be done every time something comes up to stress you, to anger you, to frighten you, to threaten to take peace away from you.

I'm not promising instant prosperity, but I am promising peace. And when you have peace, inspiration comes to you on how to best deal with the sticky wickets in your life. When you're fearful, angry, resentful, hateful, judgmental or just confused, then it's pretty clear that you're running on memories and not conscious of Spirit. When you see that you're running on a negative emotion, thank Spirit, tell Spirit you're sorry, invite Spirit to clean up this messy memory, ask forgiveness for yourself and everyone in your "network" of people, and then say "I love you." Simple, direct, easy.

The most amazing things happen when you practice Ho'oponopono. You not only clean up your memories and history, you clean up your family's, friends, relations and ancestors as well. You may be acting upon a memory from some ancestor in your family several generations back and not even know it. It's clean, it's green (doesn't dirty the environment - in fact it cleans it up, and it's a dream to live with.

Since Obama's election, it is a "Yes We Can" world. We can clean up our space, and the space of the world around us. Everything in the world that bothers you, you can walk through the Ho'oponopono steps and start cleaning them up. Isn't that exciting? You're in charge! You are the leader of your "Tribe" as Seth Godin says.

Groups of people are joining the "tribe" of Ho'oponopono. We're ready to clean ourselves up so we can clean the world! Interested in joining us?  Sign up for the Spirit Journey News on the right, and we'll notify you of Ho'oponopono groups forming near you.

After studying spiritual practices for 55 years, I find this beautiful Christmas Carol so moving and so uplifting and so "spot on" target for the evolution of our consciousness.

When the "soul felt its worth" is just so right.  We have been hypnotized into believing our worthlessness as grandmothers - wisewomen - WOMEN - for centuries.

Now is the time to wake up to our unborn nature - pure - perfect -   Oh, if we only knew.  Christmas is gloom and doom in retail, but finally, we have the chance as grandmothers to celebrate the true "birth of Christ" - the true connection of our "soul's worth".  We are so much more than the material, greedy, form.  We are deep, we are passionate, we are women worthy of consideration.  Wisewomen wake up!  We can change the course of cynicism, of materialism, we can do so much to turn this holiday from one swing of the pendulum of a child born to "buying frenzy" to "show our love".  I will share with you in the next few weeks how to make your Christmas Experience a true spiritual awakening.  Hang with me grandmothers.  Then share your wisdom with your family.  You are the only wisewomen who can.  You're being called...will you answer?"

I love you.  Enjoy this beautiful video  You are the light of the world.  Claim it.  Own it.  Bless it.  Blessings to you and your family.

Here's a cute video to make you smile this Friday!  Love you and have a great weekend!

I read a fascinating article by Linda Bradey, of Creative Choices. I'm republishing a quote from her article in the Spirit Crossing Newsletter:

"The crucifixion is one of the primary focuses of this Age. Consider that for 2,000 years we have defined our spiritual nature by a man being nailed to a cross and being tortured and killed. This symbolizes the best and worst of Pisces. This was an era when people felt that suffering and guilt were somehow synonymous with spirituality. Many of us are plagued by these neurotic beliefs today. (Ironically, we characterize Christ in the cross, not in the Resurrection. He did not stay on the cross. This is a point that I'd like to make as food for thought, though it extends outside the scope of this article.) On the other hand, the Crucifixion can also be seen as the transcendence of the ego and a surrendering of one's selfishness for a higher ideal to serve. In its most profound sense the Crucifixion means the principle of sacrifice and profound devotion. It is the water element at its most refined."

"Conversely, the Pisces Age was marked to a large extent by a lack of knowledge, which resulted in religious bigotry and nearsightedness. We all know of the many atrocities that have been perpetrated in the name of God and in the bid to attain salvation. From the Inquisitors to the Born-Again Christians, the "only route to God" has been coupled with rancor and strife, with every group claiming exclusive access to the one true God, while all non-believers are considered automatically excluded from God's kingdom, even to the extent of eternal torment. Pisces is intensely concerned with matters of faith. However, we have all seen where this can lead when taken to extremes. At its worst, the Pisces Age was an era of religious intolerance, when large populations were expected to show unquestioning allegiance to a rigid belief system."

I can feel this change in the air.  I can hear it in people's voices.  Some high, tinny, frightened, some slow, calm, open, but the change is definitely coming.

It is rather remarkable that the holiday - holy day - that looms largest in most Christian churches is Easter.  And so many good people get stuck in the nailing Jesus to the cross.  Jesus was a man.  This story shows this by Jesus asking his Father to "take this cup away" from him.  Jesus was awakened.  This story also shows this by Jesus saying, "Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do." and "Not my will, by Thy Will.  I commend my Spirit to you Father."

If you see Jesus as the "way-shower", then you understand the significance of this part of the story.  Our human nature would like "not" to deal with pain, with struggle, with growing spiritually.  We'd rather not hurt.  But if we take our Father's cup, if we commit to Spiritual Growth, Awakening, then we commit to a bit of pain in the process.  OK, a lot of pain.  We cannot shed the shackles of spiritual ignorance, without growing pains.  We can't have compassion for others in their journey without feeling pain our selves and realizing that is part of the process of coming "Home" to our Father.  Once we start this process, there is no going back. We can't "kinda" become awakened.  Once awakening starts, we see old habits, old familiar judgments, old drama-queen scenarios and old offense of our sensibilities as rather ridiculous.  It's kind of funny, actually.  I laugh out loud at myself and my thoughts.  They don't belong to me any more, because they never did.  Someone far larger than myself is breathing me, beating my heart, carrying me through each moment.  Those egoic thoughts are just that, thoughts, neither true nor false, good nor bad, just thoughts.  It's not about me, my little ego-scared-self.  I'm part of a much, much larger, more benevolent, whole.

So if you're feeling the martyr, especially in these dynamically changing times, stop, feel your breath.  Stop thinking.  Feel the moment.  Can you feel the Presence of God?  Can you feel God breathing you?  Can you feel God energy throughout your body?  Take yourself off of the cross, we need the wood!  There is redemption and resurrection waiting for you as soon as you hop down off of that cross.  You are loved, supported, helped, embraced by the same loving God that Jesus is.  Give up the cross of shame, guilt, judgment and separateness, terminal uniqueness - for heaven's sake! :)  Feel the wind of forgiveness rush in and lift you up.  This is VERY GOOD NEWS!  A gift waiting to be accepted.  Are you ready to receive your gift?

As soon as you accept the gift, you have so much energy to come up with solutions.  Solutions not only for your immediate world, but for the larger world.  In fact, you cannot hold back the excitement, the pure love you feel for everyone!  You cannot wait for inspiration to come to solve issues that vex us.  You are on fire with the love you feel, bubbling up, overflowing, spilling out of your presence.  My wish for you this holiday season is that you find the Spirit of Christ within.  "The Kingdom of God is Within You."  There is that present again.  With your name on it.  Go ahead, open it!  You will be delighted!
