Oh my goodness. Here we go again. Poor spinach. Poor organic spinach farmers. Poor Popeye!

E. coli bacteria was linked to spinach. The E. coli outbreak has killed one person and sickened nearly 100 others. When ingested, the bug can cause diarrhea, often with bloody stools. Most healthy adults can recover completely within a week, although some people -- including the very young and old -- can develop a form of kidney failure that often leads to death.

OK, here's my theory. Suppose, we're a nation hooked on stress. Not only do we head pell-mell everyday into insane schedules, after we drive through our favorite "caffeine laden with sugar chain", and devouring a fat-laden mc-drive-through breakfast, driving aggressively, hating the world, our lives and our jobs. We feel guilty about not spending any time with that most precious family we have. Guilt compounds stress.

Gosh, one of the hardest things for me to deal with is feeling like Dory in Finding Nemo. Bebopping along, and then forgeting what I was talking about, unable to recall a thing or a place or a person's name, or where I was going or what I was going there for! Don't you just hate that?

You may or may not have heard about this but my friend Stephen Pierce just released a new product that helps with Brainwave Entrainment . It was developed by some scientists. It's unbelievably fascinating.

I'm talking spend-way-too-much-of-your-time-sitting-around-trying-to-figure-out-what-in-the-world-makes-it-work fascinating.

My kitty has been tearing all over the house in the last few days, howling at the moon, hormones a raging! He was neutered a long time ago, but still goes a little wacky each month. Just like me. Last night, my husband and I were driving home from a BBQ 50th birthday party for a friend. He had a hard time turning 50. I tried to find out why he and another friend had such a hard time with the BIG 50. Is it different for men? They said they just couldn't believe they were that OLD! My husband and I saw a big, beautiful hunter's moon - glowing red in the sky as we drove home. Smoke from summer fires, pollution, and other things made that moon red. But she is beautiful and I always wish her good evening and good morning. I went out on the deck this morning and there she was, all shiny and white. My cat was still tearing around the house.
